Role: Senior Consultant (Data and ESG)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Data Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our ESG consultancy, you will be responsible for leading client projects, managing environmental data systems, and providing expert data-driven insights to drive sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Take charge of client projects, leading the development and implementation of tailored sustainability strategies. Manage client environmental data systems, ensuring effective data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Data and Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel and enterprise data management systems to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets for sustainability reporting and strategic insights. Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Sustainability Consulting: Advise clients on achieving their sustainability and ESG targets across sectors such as Utilities, Travel, Finance, and Technology. Assist in creating decarbonization plans, ESG reports, and sustainability strategies that align with clients' business goals.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor 1-2 junior consultants, ensuring their professional growth and ability to contribute to client projects. Collaborate within the team to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, while ensuring project excellence.

Requirements:

  • Analytical data management, with a strong focus on an ESG related field.
  • Managing large-scale data projects, with proficiency in Excel and enterprise data management systems.
  • Practical experience in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and writing ESG impact reports.
  • It would be Advantageous to have experience in sustainability frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, and other ESG-related regulations. Expertise in sustainability data analysis, with an ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines.
