About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Technician to join our team at Daimler Truck. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out major diagnostic work and assist technicians with complex repairs.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspection and conduct final quality inspections.
  • Provide breakdown cover as part of a weekly rota.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, reporting any deficiencies.

Requirements
  • A Manufacturer Certified Master Technician Qualification.
  • A recognised Motor Industry Apprenticeship.
  • Experience of working within a busy workshop.
  • A strong understanding of PSV electrical systems.
  • Experience of roadside recovery of commercial vehicles (desirable).
  • Roadside recovery certified (desirable).
  • PCV/PSV license (desirable).
  • Electro/mechanical knowledge relevant to the bus and coach industry (desirable).
