Support Position in Cardiff Bay

We are seeking a skilled Support professional to fill a Temporary Operations Administrator role in our Cardiff Bay office.

This is a flexible position, requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week (negotiable) for an indefinite period covering sickness absence.

To be successful, you will need strong administration experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage your workload efficiently.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls and serve as the primary point of contact for staff and visitors.
  • Monitor and manage the Operations mailbox in Microsoft Outlook, handling mail accordingly.
  • Liaise with suppliers, building security, and management as needed.
  • Procure items for colleagues and track expenses accurately.
  • Facilitate equipment shipment coordination with the IT team.
  • Process basic financial transactions, including purchase requisitions and supplier invoices.
  • Provide health & safety guidance and act as Fire Marshal and First Aider.
  • Offer general administrative support to Operations, IT, and HR teams.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of administration experience gained in an office setting.
  • Familiarity with basic health & safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage workload independently.
  • Experience with basic finance, including VAT calculations.
  • Proficient in Office 365 suite.
  • Recent First Aid or Fire Marshal training advantageous.

Location and Working Hours:

Cardiff Bay, with on-site parking available; office-based, 3 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Remuneration: £29-£39 per hour, dependent on experience.
