Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a GOOD Ofsted Rated Primary School in Kingston Upon Thames.

Job Summary: We are looking for a teaching assistant to support a young child with Autism in lessons and provide care for them. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and have over 6 weeks' recent experience in a childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the child with Autism in lessons and provide care for them
  • Work with the teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support the child's learning
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the child

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with children
  • Over 6 weeks' recent experience in a childcare setting
  • Current DBS check
  • Reference information for the last 3 years
  • UK eligibility to work
