Role Overview

Tempest Resourcing Limited is offering a rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support learners aged 4-19 with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities (SLD/PMLD), many of whom have a co-diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

About the Role

  • You will work as part of the staff team under the direction of the School Leadership Team, Class Teacher, or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and pupil's learning.
  • Utilise the Development Framework to contribute to planning and implementing best practices to meet individual learner needs.
  • Support teaching through appropriate specialist strategies and inclusive ICT, helping learners access the full curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess learner progress, using ICT effectively, and maintain records consistent with school systems.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher, HLTA, and other school professionals to set and review short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £95 per day.

Location

The role is based in the Richmond Area, supporting learners across multiple sites.
