Permanent Nights Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Technician to join a well-established client based in Chepstow. Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly into the Maintenance Manager, the Technician will be responsible for the site and all of its maintenance to ensure production is continually provided.
  • On occasions where issues cannot be resolved internally, the Maintenance Technician will assist with external suppliers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • To continually carry out routine/preventative maintenance, mechanical settings, and fault diagnosis across all the facility and systems, including:
  • To have an understanding of pneumatic/mechanical control systems.
  • To have an understanding of electro/mechanical control systems.
  • Semi-automated packing (tapping & spiral wrap) lines.
  • A range of liquid pumps, valves, and heating elements in the chemical treatment and wastewater treatment plant.
  • Polyamide rolling lines and packing machines.
Requirements:
  • An understanding of pneumatic/mechanical control systems.
  • An understanding of electro/mechanical control systems.
  • Experience with semi-automated packing (tapping & spiral wrap) lines.
  • Knowledge of liquid pumps, valves, and heating elements in the chemical treatment and wastewater treatment plant.
