About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Mental Health Specialist to join our Thrive In Education team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with schools and education settings to provide mental health support to children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • To deliver evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health difficulties in schools and educational settings.
  • Support the mental health leads in schools/colleges to develop a whole school approach to wellbeing and mental health.
  • Provide advice and guidance to education staff and liaise with specialist services to support children and young people to remain in education through the right support.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Health and Social Care, or Child Development. You will also have proven experience of working effectively with people with mental health difficulties, including delivering low intensity interventions in school and education environments.
