About the Role

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team and pick up Bank shifts across our services. You will have the chance to work in the adult acute unit and CAMHS unit depending on service needs. This is a service catering mainly to adult private patients and also adult OCD patients referred through the NHS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with patients, effectively manage risk, and promote patient involvement in their care and treatment.
  • Work with a large multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, other registered mental health nurses, healthcare assistants, teaching staff, therapists, and occupational therapists.
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care.
About Priory Hospital North London

The adolescent unit consists of 2 wards. The vast majority of our patients are funded by the NHS and referred from local NHS out-patient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We also provide services for adolescents with OCD and private patients. We work with 12 to 17 year olds presenting with a wide range of mental health problems, but particular specialities are with self harm. Many of our young people have experienced earlier abuse and neglect and have attachment difficulties and emotional dysregulation.

Disclosure
