About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Partnership Officer to support our Meetings and Events Strategic Partnerships team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing donor meetings and events, including annual donor appreciation events, fundraising events, and cultivation events.
Key Responsibilities- Project planning and execution: develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event, and lead on their execution.
- Communication: coordinate communications with donors regarding event invitations, RSVPs, and follow-ups.
- Project-manage event logistics: oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
- Donor recognition and stewardship: develop and implement tactics for donor recognition during meetings and events.
- Event promotion: collaborate with the CEO's office and communications teams to develop event communication materials.
- Project budgeting: develop event budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Data management: manage event-related data in the donor database or CRM system.
- Risk management and compliance: ensure compliance with relevant guidelines for events and manage potential risks.
- A bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality management, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in planning and executing meetings and events, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Ability to develop event budgets and analyze financial performance.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A flexible work environment and a space to develop new skills.
