Job Description
- Manage rent accounts and ensure timely collection of rental income
- Monitor arrears and take appropriate action to prevent them from escalating
- Provide advice and guidance to tenants about rent payments and benefits
- Prepare and present reports on income collection for management
- Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions and communication with tenants
- Liaise with other departments and external agencies to resolve issues
- Adhere to company policies and statutory regulations related to property management
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the department
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Housing Income Officer' should have:
- Proficiency in managing rental income
- Knowledge of property management regulations
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with tenants and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on income collection
- The ability to work effectively in a team
- A qualification in property management or a related field
