About the Role:
The Behaviour Mentor will provide excellent care and promote all students to improve behaviour through educational vices whilst also supporting and managing social and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students to improve their behaviour and academic performance.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans.
- Support students in developing emotional regulation skills and managing their emotions in a healthy way.
- Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for students.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
