Quality Engineer - Fasteners Position Overview


This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our client, a well-established manufacturer of fasteners in Broughton Astley.



Job Description:

To work with the Quality Manager and Quality Inspector to ensure that the company is able to meet the QA objectives, which entail the drive for continuous improvement within the framework of ISO 9001. This includes taking receipt of quality products and subsequently delivering these products right first time to our customers.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in an ISO 9001 approved manufacturing company, preferably ISO16949.
  • Utilize quality tools to resolve quality concerns.
  • Operate basic measuring equipment such as micrometer, electronic caliper (vernier caliper), shadowgraph, thread ring & plug gauges.
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Analyzing data to improve processes.


Benefits:

Salary: £38,000 per annum based on experience. Our salary estimates are based on national averages and can be adjusted according to individual circumstances.


Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays. Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm with one hour for lunch.
