Aerospace & Defence Sales Growth Manager

About the Company:

Our client operates regulated and non-regulated multi-utility networks across the UK, with sites in MediaCityUK, Liverpool Waters, and Canary Wharf. They provide a range of services including electricity, water, and wastewater, as well as heating, cooling, and hot water services.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic business development manager to grow our business by adopting utility networks installed on new developments. The successful candidate will work closely with Developers, Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), and Self-Lay Providers (SLP) to build relationships and manage commercial risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including Developers, ICPs, SLPs, and M&E consultants.
  2. Build a sales pipeline through prospecting and networking.
  3. Work with the wider Business Development (BD) team to develop sales and marketing growth strategies.
  4. Negotiate with clients to maximise commercial terms.
  5. Collaborate with the operations team to understand client requirements and potential solutions.
  6. Utilise social media platforms to enhance brand awareness.
  7. Develop strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  8. Possess problem-solving and creative skills.
  9. Hold a solid knowledge of electrical and water networks.
  10. Awareness of commercial risk and experience of mitigating risks.
  11. Flexibility to travel, work location, and hours.
