About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Young's. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Oversee the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and high-quality food
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and inventory management
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
