Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Manage training programs for employees on health and safety procedures, including MEWP, First Aid, and Fire safety.
- Coordinate the testing of fire alarms and emergency equipment, maintaining records of same.
- Liaise with landlords, local councils, contractors, and building surveyors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain key HSE KPIs on a monthly basis to track performance.
- Ensure all new employees receive a comprehensive HSE induction on commencement of employment.
- Support internal and external audit programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in health and safety management in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
