Sustainability and Environmental Compliance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability and Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving our sustainability strategy and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Manage the development and reporting of our sustainability strategy, ensuring it meets global standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor competitor and industry sector sustainability strategies, targets, and requirements, and incorporate these into our strategy to ensure competitiveness.
- Act as a business partner for sustainability, providing advice and support to departmental leaders and ensuring alignment with our strategic plans and objectives.
- Collaborate with external consultants and practitioners to ensure sustainability reporting meets relevant global standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assess RFIs and RFPs for suitability and work with the management team to agree which bids to respond to.
- Gather information from across the business to generate a factual and robust response.
- Build a database of answers to make each new bid an easier task than those that have come before.
- Work with the wider team and marketing department to ensure all submissions are completed to the timeline and quality expected.
- Work with our design team to understand our products in detail.
- Gather information from our component suppliers and their materials and finishes supply-chain to build a comprehensive picture of each product at base material and chemical level.
- Become familiar and efficient at uploading data into portals like 'Toxnot' and 'Living Building' to achieve approvals for Declare Labels or Health Product Declarations.
