Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Consultant to join our team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Clinician to work with our team, providing expert advice and guidance on a range of mental health issues affecting children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat young patients and families in acute and community psychiatric settings
  • Provide expert opinion on a range of problems in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Manage risk and develop effective treatment plans
  • Participate in user involvement in services and contribute to the development of community mental health services
Requirements
  • CCT or equivalent in CAMHS
  • Substantial experience of managing a busy caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to work effectively in a community mental health setting
Desirable Qualities
  • Awareness of community structures and social care options and processes
  • Understanding of recovery principles in mental health

Please note that this is a Locum position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible basis.
