Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist/Endoscopist to join our clinical teams around the UK. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a well-structured clinical environment, providing out-patient support for clinics and undertaking endoscopy sessions.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services to patients
• Work collaboratively with our clinical teams to deliver excellent patient care
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
• Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• UK registerable Medical Degree
• GMC registration with a license to practice
• Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
• JAG Accreditation

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Diagnostic Colonoscopy
• Diagnostic Gastroscopy
• Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gaining UK CCST
• Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology
