SEND Learning Support Assistant Position

We are collaborating with a Primary School in Enfield to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant.

This role offers the chance to positively impact the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:
  • You will be accountable for providing comprehensive support to children with SEND, encompassing their care, development, learning, and well-being.
  • You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to guarantee that each child receives the necessary support to excel.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer 1:1 and small group support to identified children with SEND, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities.
  • Support the growth of children's language and communication skills.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and provide necessary pastoral support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a SEND Learning Support Assistant in a Primary School environment.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with SEND and supporting their development.
