Deputy Director of Education - SEMH Opportunity

Compass Associates is proud to partner with a national operator in their search for a Deputy Director of Education. This exciting role offers the chance to join a progressive and expanding business that aims to enhance its portfolio of specialist schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the performance of a designated portfolio of schools and support the division to achieve excellence.
  2. Provide leadership, direction, and management support to Regional Executive Head Teachers and Head Teachers within the Education Division.
  3. Ensure all schools in the portfolio comply with regulatory requirements, current guidance, and legislation.
  4. Regularly visit schools to support head teachers and identify areas requiring improvement.
  5. Promote and ensure that students' individual needs are met within each school.

Person Specification:

  1. Teaching Qualification or recognised managerial qualification.
  2. Detailed understanding of OFSTED and independent school regulations.
