About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Developer to join our team at SharkNinja. As a key member of our Product Development organization, you will play a critical role in driving our global product roadmap from concept to shelf.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Director/VP of Product Development in the development of successful and profitable programs for key products, ensuring the continued growth of our product portfolio.
  • Lead new product development, from brainstorm phase through mass production, and partner with the Director/VP to define the over-arching category direction.
  • Manage and grow team members, providing guidance on assigned projects, ensuring product success, and supporting professional advancement within the organization.
  • Define and develop product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, market white space, and new/flagship product technologies.
  • Develop user-relevant design targets for product performance and user experience, and act as the beacon of these targets to the cross-functional team.
  • Partner with our Insights & Intelligence team to develop consumer testing objectives, and implement consumer-driven feedback into product specifications and design iterations.
  • Manage product cost structure, reporting, and cost rationalization exercises, and collaborate with supply chain, merchandising, and supply planning teams on product sourcing strategy recommendations.
  • Provide direction and oversight into the creation and execution of go-to-market collateral to support product launch, including instructional material and consumer-facing product specification information.
  • Act as the product and/or category expert for cross-functional team member questions and concerns.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a combination of the above.
  • Prior experience hiring, managing, leading, and goal-setting with team members.
  • A consumer-first perspective when introducing new products/processes or improving current products.
  • Ability to effectively manage up by communicating top priorities and seeking feedback on work product.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams.
  • Highly-effective communication skills, both written and in-person.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire to learn and grow in a passionate environment.
