Maintenance Multiskilled Engineer Role

Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
  2. Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including repairs, preventative maintenance, fitting, assembly, welding, and sheet metalwork.
  3. Respond to reactive maintenance needs, attending to breakdowns and unplanned stoppages.
  4. Conduct various building maintenance tasks as required.
  5. Work under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager and Facilities Director to fit parts, fault find, and offer solutions to problems while adhering to the company's preventative maintenance schedule.
  6. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and follow all health and safety guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Electrical Maintenance Engineer qualification.
  2. Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification is advantageous.
  3. Experience with networked PC systems and 3-phase power supplies.
  4. Strong fitting and assembly skills, including the use of hand tools.
  5. Proficiency in welding, fabrication, brazing, soldering, and other jointing processes.
