Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Gregory Group. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of operatives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of operatives in the operation of counterbalance and reach trucks, loading and unloading vehicles, and completing checks for goods in and equipment.
  • Direct and motivate a team of operatives on a daily basis, dealing with problems as they arise and escalating when required.
  • Complete various checks in the warehouse, on individuals, on MHE and equipment, and maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Reach and counterbalance licence is essential.
  • Previous experience of working within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment is desirable.
  • Experience with MHE and good communication and team working skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills and ability to work on own initiative are necessary.
