Job Overview

At McLaren F1 Team, our mission is to set the standard for high performance in sport. We are seeking a highly skilled Art Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

As an Art Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating component servicing, kitting, lifing, logistics, and stock control within a Formula One and test car environment. You will work closely with the TPC Project Management team to ensure quantities of parts and spares are available to meet the TPC event schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide car parts support, maintain, and improve the TPC logistics stock and lifing functions both electronically and physically, to enable effective running of the TPC programme.
  • Ensure stock control, correct build, and kitting practices, servicing routines are maintained, components, and assemblies are fit for use.
  • Deliver stock, parts logistics programs, projects, and continuous improvement strategies to support events both at and away from the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC).
  • The position will involve unsociable hours and substantial weekend work, including significant event attendance and overseas travel.
Requirements:
  • An excellent understanding of car component stock management and parts flow in a Formula One and test car environment.
  • Current F1 activities and Heritage experience.
  • Experience of Javelin stock control system.
  • Extensive knowledge of Formula One race car components and assemblies.
  • Experience of managing complex motorsport parts and assemblies on demanding timescales.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and digital systems, to drive process improvements regarding digital build and lifing management.
  • Able to interpret engineering specification drawings and BOM data.
  • Flexible approach to prioritise effectively and change focus quickly.
  • Ability and willingness to travel abroad.
