Job Overview

The Programmes and Activities Lead role is an exciting opportunity to join Scouting Essex as a key member of the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering youth programmes that cater to the needs of young people aged 6-18.

Your main focus will be on creating engaging and interactive activities that promote learning, personal growth, and development.

Working with Adult volunteers, you will assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating these programmes to ensure they meet the highest standards.

This role offers a unique chance to work with different age groups, from Beaver Scouts to Explorer Scouts, and develop your skills and expertise in programme design and delivery.

As a member of the Scouting Essex team, you will contribute to shaping the future of youth development in the region.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Programmes and Activities Lead include:

  1. Developing and implementing youth programmes that meet the needs of young people aged 6-18.
  2. Collaborating with Adult volunteers to plan, deliver, and evaluate programmes.
  3. Ensuring programme quality and effectiveness through regular monitoring and evaluation.
  4. Providing support and guidance to Adult volunteers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

The estimated salary for this position is around £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
