About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Young's Pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus, ensuring that dishes are of the highest quality and presentation is excellent.
- Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are achieving the best possible margins.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring that we are getting the best possible products at the best possible prices.
- Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, working closely with the Head Chef and other members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for producing high-quality food.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
