About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Young's Pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional presentation.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and dishes, working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional food and service, and promoting a positive and inclusive kitchen culture.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Participate in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution and high standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the kitchen team.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Passion for delivering exceptional food and service, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
