We are seeking a Teacher Assistant Lead to join our team at beBee Professionals in Islington, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring that students remain engaged in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task.
  • Maintaining discipline in accordance with school policies.
  • Providing feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students.
  • Supporting students with their learning when necessary.
  • Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Assisting with administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Salary:

Competitive daily rate of pay (£150-£200 per day) depending on experience.
