Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking teaching assistant to join our team at Wreay CofE Primary School. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping children develop a love of learning and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality education to students.
  • To assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to promote pupil achievement and progress.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Teaching Assistant NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess initiative and be proactive in adapting and developing engaging learning activities.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
