About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Swindon. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing expert tax advice and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of tax clients and providing expert tax advice and services
  • Handling complex tax compliance and advisory work, ensuring clients meet their obligations and maximise opportunities
  • Reviewing and preparing tax returns, including personal, partnership, and corporation tax
  • Liaising with HMRC and resolving client tax enquiries
  • Mentoring and developing junior tax staff, overseeing their work and supporting their professional growth
  • Working closely with partners to develop and deliver tailored tax solutions for clients
  • Identifying business development opportunities and helping to grow the firm's tax services

Candidate Requirements
  • ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent experience in a UK tax practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory work
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio and delivering high-quality tax services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting client needs
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Commercially minded with a focus on identifying opportunities for business growth
