About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transfer Pricing Specialist to join our team at Weir, a world-leading engineering business. As a key member of our tax team, you will play a critical role in supporting our global operations and ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations across 60+ jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer Pricing Compliance: Identify and coordinate annual transfer pricing compliance obligations across all jurisdictions, including local forms, affidavits, Master File, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
- Tax Authority Submissions: Prepare and review submissions to tax authorities, working closely with regional tax and finance leadership, as well as external advisors as needed.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with business functions to understand existing and evolving commercial operations, providing advice on potential impact on transfer pricing policy and documentation.
- Transfer Pricing Reporting: Provide input on TP calculations/entries to support the Group's corporate income tax, Pillar II, and CbCR reporting, including quarterly forecasts, interim, and full-year reporting.
Requirements:
- Professional Tax or Accounting Qualification: A recognized professional tax or accounting qualification is essential.
- Transfer Pricing Experience: Experience in transfer pricing is highly desirable, either from a specialist transfer pricing role or through providing broader international tax advice to complex global businesses.
- Relationship Building: Confident in building relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver agreed objectives in a commercial environment.
- Technical Expertise: Ability to operate effectively as part of a team and independently to provide transfer pricing technical insight in a complex and changing global business environment.
