FLT Reach Truck & Counterbalance Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled FLT Reach Truck & Counterbalance Driver to join our team at People Solutions Group. As a FLT Reach Truck & Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating FLT trucks, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and moving and transporting stock within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate FLT Reach and Counterbalance trucks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload trucks and containers using provided equipment
  • Move and transport stock to designated areas of the warehouse
  • Load and unload vehicles and pallets from vehicles
  • Receive and unpack incoming goods, taking inventory as required
  • Organize stock for deliveries and secure pallets
  • Stack and stow pallets away in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols at all times
  • Check the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Report any stock discrepancies to management
Requirements:
  • Valid Reach Truck & Counterbalance Licence (in-house training considered)
  • Experience driving/operating a Reach/Counterbalance Truck
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
