FLT Reach Truck & Counterbalance Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled FLT Reach Truck & Counterbalance Driver to join our team at People Solutions Group. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for safely operating FLT trucks to load and unload goods, as well as moving stock around the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate FLT Reach and Counterbalance trucks to load and unload goods
  • Move stock around the warehouse using FLT trucks
  • Load and unload vehicles and pallets from vehicles
  • Receive and unpack incoming goods and take inventory as required
  • Organize stock for deliveries and wrap and secure as needed
  • Stack and stow pallets away in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols at all times and promote a safe working environment
  • Check the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Organize stock for deliveries and report any stock discrepancies to management
  • Promote a safe work environment and report any safety concerns or issues to management
Requirements:
  • Valid Reach Truck & Counterbalance Licence (in-house training will be considered)
  • Experience driving/operating a Reach/Counterbalance Truck
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
