About the Apprenticeship Opportunity

Our Engineering Technician Apprenticeship is a 4-year program that can lead to one of four areas of technical expertise:

  • Manufacturing/Engineering Support Technician – provides technical support and expertise for all areas of manufacturing and engineering functions.
  • Metrology Engineer – involves checking aircraft parts to ensure they are delivered correctly and to the highest standard.
  • Quality Engineer - provides experience in all aspects of aircraft design and manufacture.
  • Tooling Engineer - uses skills to design, modify, or repair tooling used to produce aircraft parts.

You will complete your Level 4 Technical Certificate and continue on-the-job training in your final department.

What You'll Need

To help us make a difference, you'll bring your passion and commitment to the role, as well as a minimum of 5 GCSEs level 4-9 which must include:

  • Maths: 5-9
  • English: 4-9
  • Science: 4-9
