Job Summary: Stride Resource Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Claims Resolution Specialist to join our established team. As a Casualty Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Employers & Public Liability losses, including Medical Malpractice claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 150 files, split equally between first notifications and cases managed through to successful conclusion.
- Review and confirm policy coverage, set claim strategies, and handle claims internally when feasible.
- Manage external advisers and experts, negotiate with various parties, and ensure proactive portfolio management with accurate reserving and effective cost management.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Claims Handler, dealing with Employers & Public Liability, Medical Malpractice, or Clinical Negligence.
- Extensive policy coverage knowledge, a thorough understanding of litigation and dispute resolution, along with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to grasp the broader impact of claims decisions on the business.
- Results-driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
