We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Professional to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. The successful candidate will handle a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims, working closely with customers, brokers, and underwriters to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims from first notification to conclusion.
- Developing and implementing claims strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Selecting and instructing external advisers and experts, including solicitors as needed.
- Liaising and negotiating with customers, brokers, claimants, and their representatives.
- Demonstrating excellent file handling and claims management skills through proactive portfolio management.
- Collaborating with underwriters to win and retain business.
Key Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor, legal executive, paralegal, or claims professional with experience in handling Professional Indemnity claims or equivalent experience in commercial/civil litigation claims in England and Wales.
- A strong understanding of litigation and the legal process, with knowledge of all methods of dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
