Job Summary

We are recruiting a skilled Pharmaceutical Trials Specialist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a UK registered Pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy to develop their skills in clinical trials and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and running of clinical trials, academic and non-academic research in our trust. They will also provide professional input and knowledge in managing clinical trial services across MPFT.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support the development and running of clinical trials, academic and non-academic research in MPFT.
  2. Provide professional input and knowledge in managing clinical trial services across MPFT.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review clinical trial protocols as part of study feasibility and comment on compliance with legal, ethical, and pharmaceutical viewpoints.
  • Participate in screening, dispensing, and checking of clinical trial prescriptions and advise others on Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
RequirementsQualification and Experience
  • Pharmacy degree (Masters level or Bachelor's level and equivalent experience)
  • Registered UK Pharmacist (GPhC)
Skills and Qualities
  • Substantial experience post registration in a hospital pharmacy setting

The estimated salary for this role is £45,963 - £56,087 per annum, depending on experience.
