About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Worker to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to clinical teams, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
- Manage the reception area, responding to patient queries and providing information on hospital services.
- Assist with the coordination of patient appointments, including checking patients in and out, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Support the team with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, taking messages, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, visitors, and staff, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, visitors, and staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Office and hospital systems.
