About the Role:

GSL Education - London is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a special school. If you are passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and committed to making a positive impact, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide one-to-one and group tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  2. Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring that each child receives the support they need.
  3. Encourage and motivate students, helping them to build self-confidence and achieve their academic goals.
  4. Track and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure effective learning.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant in a SEN setting.
  2. A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and how to support students with varying abilities.
  3. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome their challenges.
  4. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
