Business Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Tax Senior to join our thriving Business Tax team in our Leatherhead office. As a Business Tax Senior, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing a portfolio of corporation tax clients, ensuring their compliance cycle is managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations
- Monitor and manage reporting and payment deadlines
- Work closely with audit and accounts teams to advise on tax accounting entries and disclosures
- Train and mentor junior colleagues within the Business Tax Team
- Provide corporation tax compliance proposals and quotes to prospective clients
- Coordinate and review other business tax-related returns (e.g. ATED, ERS, EMI, P11Ds etc)
- Monitor and manage financial performance in line with KPIs
- Manage related correspondence with clients and HMRC
- Identify opportunities for tax planning, risk mitigation, and cross-selling between service lines
- Corporate tax technical and practical knowledge
- Good knowledge of tax issues affecting owner-managed businesses and their shareholders
- Knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is preferable but not essential
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards and competent in interpreting accounts and other financial information
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and databases
- Strong communication and organisation skills
