Business Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Tax Manager to join our team at Menzies. As a key member of our Corporate Tax department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business tax clients, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of business tax clients, including compliance and advisory services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying areas where Menzies can further support and assist
- Assist with training and management of the business tax team
- Advise and assist corporates on tax requirements, including succession planning, remuneration planning, and capital allowances planning
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize business value
- Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and business growth
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising clients on implications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) and/or CIOT qualified tax adviser with at least one year's post-qualified experience in a tax-related role
- Corporate tax technical and practical knowledge
- Good knowledge of tax issues affecting corporates and their shareholders
- Knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is preferable but not essential
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards and competent in interpreting accounts and other financial information
