About the Role

As a DCM Origination Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities within the financial institutions sector across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Nordic region. Your responsibilities will encompass market analysis, client engagement, deal structuring, and execution of debt capital markets (DCM) transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market monitoring, analyzing macroeconomic trends, interest rates, and the secondary bond market to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive market updates and new issue proposals for potential issuers, providing insights on pricing levels, market considerations, product recommendations, and optimal timing.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing valuable market intelligence and actively promoting new issuance opportunities across both public and private formats.
  • Spearhead the origination of commercial opportunities within your assigned region, focusing on strengthening existing BBVA client relationships and identifying new prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to structure and execute DCM transactions, ensuring seamless deal flow from origination to closing.
