Sales Director

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Grafton Recruitment. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving volume, value, and margin targets while fostering strong customer relationships and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary customer interface, leading negotiations and developing strategic and tactical plans to achieve company volume, value, and margin targets.
* Provide direct feedback from customers to relevant departments within the company to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
* Work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure customers have specific tactical plans for both the brand and the customer, driving shelf share, net sales, and margin targets across the full portfolio.
* Implement customer-specific plans across the full portfolio for the top 15 customers, ensuring cross-sell targets are met.
* Lead key projects aimed at business growth and increased market share within the South Asian independent retail sector.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in an FMCG sales role
* Sales and negotiation experience
* Product knowledge and commercial Acumen
* Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
* Ability to converse in any of the following languages - Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Urdu
