An exciting senior occupational therapist opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to work in a leading mental health service. The role involves coordinating the effective operation of the occupational therapy service and managing a team to achieve established targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication skills, and experience in supervising or line managing staff. They will also have a proven ability to lead and facilitate individual/group sessions and a minimum of three years' experience working in mental health, preferably within an inpatient setting.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical support and professional supervision to the occupational therapy team, leading on the planning and delivery of multi-disciplinary therapeutic patient activity programmes, and collaborating with external agencies to maintain links with community activities and patient social inclusion programs.
