About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the implementation of individual support plans and activities
  • Maintaining effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other professionals
  • Supporting service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
  • Maintaining accurate records and notes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in health and social care or a willingness to work towards one
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health issues
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
