As a Kitchen Porter at Ferryboat Inn, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, working closely with our chefs to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work well in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and colleagues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- General daily cleaning of surfaces and floors in the kitchen
- Maintaining the cleanliness of food storage areas
- Washing up of dirty plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils
- Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
- Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment such as Cookers and Grills
- Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation e.g. peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables
