**Job Summary**
We are seeking a technically-minded Area Sales Manager to join our team. This is a central-based role in the UK, supporting and developing our customers in the region.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Work from home, focusing on technical solutions sales rather than box shifting or price-based sales.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and leads, understanding their applications and recommending suitable solutions.
- Cover a central patch, including Birmingham, Oxford, Cheltenham, and South Wales.
- Maintain relationships with existing dealers, distributors, and end-users.
- Conduct sales analysis and work closely with our Marketing team to ensure effective product promotion.
- Identify new distributors and end-users.
- Sell a range of high-quality engineering and metalwork hand power tools, including welding equipment.
**Requirements**
- Typically a mechanical engineer with a strong understanding of power tools, welding equipment, abrasives, and cutting tools.
- Previous field sales experience is essential, with a background in sales engineering, key account management, or dealer management.
**What We Offer**
- A competitive salary around £42,000, with a 30% bonus opportunity, taking the OTE to £54,000.
