Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
  2. Work closely with the commercial director to develop and implement commercial strategies.
  3. Provide support to the project team, including the preparation of tender documents and the negotiation of contracts.
  4. Assist in the development of project budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  5. Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential commercial risks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
