About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the Adult Orthopaedic Inpatient Ward at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing teams in delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including supporting patients with their personal care, mobilising, and eating and drinking.
  • Assist patients with their continence needs and maintain a clean environment to prevent infection.
  • Support patients with communication and make beds as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a functional level of English and Math.
  • Has customer service or experience working with people.
  • Is able to work as part of a team.
