Business Growth Strategist

The BD Guys is seeking a seasoned Business Growth Strategist to drive our hospitality sales forward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and prospecting new leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and supporting negotiations and deal closures to meet and exceed sales targets.

This role requires a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the B2B field sales sector, ideally within Group Purchasing Organisation, foodservice distribution (food or non-food), or hospitality services. You should have excellent knowledge of the UK hospitality market and be able to utilise personal connections to drive growth.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career progression and professional development. Our company is based in a location that requires travel within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and prospect new leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  3. Support negotiations and deal closures to meet and exceed sales targets.
  4. Collaborate closely with internal teams to onboard new customers effectively and successfully ensuring a seamless transition to ordering from our nominated suppliers.
  5. Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in B2B field sales, ideally within Group Purchasing Organisation, foodservice distribution (food or non-food), or hospitality services.
  2. Excellent knowledge of the UK hospitality market with the ability to utilise personal connections.
  3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  5. Proactive and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
  6. Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  7. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
